Started to Get Ready for the Season

I sat down with Coach Mitch and Coach Bell after gym the other day and we started to talk about what they were thinking for football season. Of course I wanted to know where they think they can use me and if I am going to have any chance to get on the field. Last year I just played on special teams, covering kicks mostly. I was thinking that I may try to figure out where to buy shakeology or some other way to pick up muscle mass. It is not easy to figure out exactly where I might be able to play next year, but I need to get a significant bit bigger and stronger if I want to get on the field. We have a whole lot of big guys and we have a lot of fast guys. It does not seem like I am going to be Lilly to get faster than the fastest guys, but I can get bigger.

Of course the big thing is being able to make the plays on the field. All of the rest of the stuff just matter of being able to look good while you are making the plays. Being fast is not a means to itself, but you need to be where you are supposed to be if you want to get the job done. The same thing goes for strength. You can use as much of it as you can get, but you have to be able to apply it wisely or else it is not going to do you that much use. You have to think about what you are doing in extremely rapid ways, because the time that you have to get the job done is going to be quite sure. If you are not there on time it’s too late.
